-Think about a few things that scare you or make you nervous. Write them down in a list and pick the one you want to start with. You can tackle the others later. Making a list helps you formulate a plan for how exactly you want to put yourself out there. Rather than just thinking about it, coming up with specific ideas forces you to put these plans in motion.
- Network with Others that are Outside of Your Bubble
-Networking may seem like it’s intrinsically connected to business, but you don’t need to stay within your professional contacts to network. Any organization or group you can think to find can offer great opportunities to meet new people and continue to develop your skills. When in doubt, join a club connected to your interests and see what connections you can make.
