James Scheu is a social entrepreneur, administrative executive, author, and servant leader with experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams through change initiatives.
With experience as a hospital administrator and nonprofit executive, James excels at leading collaborative teams along a shared vision and common goals to reach meaningful outcomes to reach sustainable impact. Through collaborative efforts, James has led multiple local and regional public health initiatives aimed at reducing risk factors for chronic disease and building capacity of under-resourced communities to organize, advocate and lead through collective impact. James now employs his talents and experiences to oversee the clinical education of pre-licensure nursing students and bridge critical capacity gaps.
James is a disabled combat veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an aircraft rescue firefighter, where he deployed multiple times, to include to Afghanistan in 2004. After suffering a career-changing injury, James left the fire service in 2015 and earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Loma Linda University in 2016. In addition to supporting local charitable organizations and serving on advisory boards, James resides in Southern California with his wife, an RN, and tier five children.
